Anybody who sells products on Amazon has likely considered, or even tried, setting up their own PPC ads using the online system. When you start to actually set up your own PPC ads, though, things can start to get really complicated. This is where sales funnel examples like AdBadger really stand out. Starting with a free trial, you can feasibly automate the entire process of running effective Amazon PPC ads.
There are always plenty of people who seek to profit by providing others with deals that they otherwise might not have found. Groupon is just one of the platforms that have been designed with the sole purpose of assisting users in the quest to find great deals. Since they have a massive list of e-mail subscribers, they have been able to cut back on the potential for lack of demand or higher competition.
With all this basic information out of the way, anybody who was previously unfamiliar with the basic components and necessities of a successful sales funnel will now be able to navigate through the top sales funnel examples we are about to talk to and immediately notice how each of the funnels stands up to some of the necessary criteria for success we discussed above. As you stroll through each of the following sales funnel examples, think of ways that you can either develop your own sales funnel, or of ways that you can improve your funnel and emulate some of the best funnel strategies used.
E-businesses need to think global: international retail e-commerce sales are slated to reach $4.5 trillion by 2021. One more time for those in the back? $4.5 trillion! With more customers across borders, your business needs to think about new payment types. Luckily, Stripe leaps beyond traditional payment types, offering businesses the ability to accept alternative — but increasingly more common — forms, like Alipay, ACH, and Bitcoin. Get your cha-ching! from any country.

There are plenty of online payment systems out there that you can use to conduct e-commerce activities. Choose one that’s in line with your business objectives. If you work with an e-commerce marketing agency, such as WebFX, ask your account manager what they suggest based on their experiences.  WebFX works with a variety of industries, from hotels to boat dealers, so they likely have experience working with similar e-commerce businesses to yours.
Full Disclosure This post may contain affiliate links, meaning that if you click on one of the links and purchase an item, I will receive a commission (at no additional cost to you). I will never accept money from a company to promote them. Every tool, software or company that I write about on this blog is personally tested and used by me, and I will never link out to a crappy product that's not good only to make a quick buck.
Hey Brian, I would refrain from using the longer URL. It’s too cumbersome to write. If people are still finding your business online and you rank well for assembly work, maybe you can just leave things as they are? Also, if you do change your URL and keep your old address, you can redirect it to the new location. That way, anyone who types in the old address will still land on your website.

Payment service providers (PSPs) are also called aggregators because of the way accounts are set up. Whereas with a merchant account, you are subjected to a great deal of underwriting and risk assessment even before you establish the account, a third-party processor does only a cursory vetting before approving the account. That’s because less information is needed – rather than setting you up with a unique account, a third-party processor lumps all of its merchants into one large merchant account (hence the term “aggregating”). This type of processing agreement has advantages: the pricing is usually flat-rate and thus very predictable, and the processor works on a month-to-month agreement rather than a multi-year contract. Often there are few, if any, monthly or annual fees to deal with, and you don’t need a monthly minimum to qualify. However, the compromise is account stability. Because so little underwriting is done beforehand, the processor analyzes your activities with greater scrutiny afterward, and you are more likely to encounter an account hold or termination, usually with little to no notice.
Tracking this metric weekly will let you evaluate the number of unqualified versus qualified leads. A qualified lead usually is an opportunity, i.e. positive interaction that leads to a face-to-face meeting or a phone call, opening favorable circumstances for a closing a sale. The lead-to-opportunity ratio tells you the number of leads you need to stay on track with your objectives in terms of revenue. Once you have a baseline ratio, you know how many leads you need to create to reach your target growth – and at the same time, you have revenue that is predictable.
There are actually many different applications and services that can help people to improve the customer service of their business. However, what Help Scout has at their advantage is that when a customer decides to use their platform, unsubscribing would take a time commitment. As a result, the level and demand and competition in the niche isn’t as important as high rates of customer retention and reasonable rates they have.
Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Payline Data is a highly rated all-purpose merchant account option that is a good fit for most business types. Payline Data is a traditional merchant account provider rather than a merchant account aggregator like Braintree or Stripe, meaning that Payline opens a new, dedicated merchant account for each client. As a result, the setup process with Payline is a little more rigorous than with Braintree or Stripe, and Payline typically cannot be used alongside an existing merchant account. However, Payline’s status as a full-service merchant account provider enables it to provide services that Braintree and Stripe cannot, including physical credit card processing equipment, custom pricing plans, and tablet POS products. The company also provides a QuickBooks-integrated online payment gateway and virtual terminal with web APIs and mobile SDKs for custom integration.
Outside of the necessary updates to the online and mobile application, the users who place the listings are the ones who update them. The reviews for each accommodation are put in by the users themselves, after an e-mail prompt from the automatic Booking.com e-mail system. Each of the location reviews is done by confirmed visitors to each of these locations to provide accurate information for travelers in real-time.
That’s mainly because of how easy it is to get started, the lack of any monthly minimums, and the absence of any fees beyond transaction costs (2.90% + $0.30 for online transactions; 2.20% + $0.30 for nonprofits). You can integrate PayPal as a supplemental option with PayPal Express, or make it your primary processor. The company is also quick to point out the research that says merchants who offer PayPal as a checkout option are likely to see a boost in sales, too.
Like Braintree, Stripe is an online payment processor that primarily offers simple yet robust integration options for websites and applications. The company provides basic APIs in Curl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Java, Node, and Go in addition to prebuilt payment forms, integrated mobile payments, Apple Pay and Bitcoin acceptance, recurring billing, international currency support, and integrations with QuickBooks, Shopify, and WordPress. Based in San Francisco, California, Stripe is also popular among developers for its active developer support community.
Just like many other effective sales funnel examples we have looked at, Basecamp focuses on e-mail collection. As soon as you navigate to the website’s home page, the first thing you are greeted with is a short description of the service, a spot to input your e-mail, and a promise that you will receive a 30-day free trial if you provide them with your e-mail. Of course, anybody who decides not to immediately purchase the product will receive marketing e-mails.

Merchant-Accounts.ca is one of the longest established merchant service providers in Canada, having launched in 2001. Their focus is multi-currency payment processing for Canadian, US and European based merchants. One of the first to provide interchange based pricing, they are a mixture of an e-commerce consulting company and a traditional payments ISO.
Bitcoin takes security seriously. Once you link your debit or credit card, you’d be ready to make and receive payments online with no worries of leaking your account information. It boasts a two-factor authentication feature, which prevents account hijacking. Other security measures are also employed, including advanced encryption methods and offline, unhackable ledgers. Another thing is heaps of vendors and users are now accepting Bitcoin payments, which means that a lot of people trust the network with their money. You probably should, too.
A subsidiary of PayPal, Braintree Payments is a Chicago, Illinois-based payment processing provider that specializes in easy-to-integrate payment options for online businesses. The company’s products and services include a well-designed API, mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, and Windows phones, support for 130 currencies, subscription billing, data portability, and support for PayPal, Venmo, Bitcoin, Apple Pay, and all major credit and debit cards. Braintree offers a Javascript library for client-side mobile and desktop web development as well as libraries in Ruby, Python, PHP, Java, Microsoft.net, and Node.js for server-side development.

If the website wasn’t overseen and designed by one of the world’s top marketers, perhaps we would have more negative things to say here. On the page, you are immediately prompted to sign up for content by providing your e-mail address and first name. Outside of the CTA, the home page has very minimal information. Yet, it is still very easy to immediately pinpoint what the service is all about.
Hi Nick, I’m in the midst of re-vamping my website and wanting to change domain name. Business is growing quickly and think I it’s time to rename now while still early (I can forward my old domain to new domain). It’s an asphalt business, sealcoating, repairs, line painting, new pavement, etc. I’ve recently added concrete repairs and have done well in that sector of the market also…pretty diversified business. My company name is Line King (started out with line painting and asphalt sealing is reason for name), and have nice logo with a crown, people like the name and logo so would like to stick with that, it is becoming a brand name now.

Many people who need assistance with their business will simply be willing to pay another person to do it, with little regard of the talents they could have gained by acquiring the information themselves. One area which really helps Digital Marketer to stand out is that they offer a service which has both been proven to assist businesses. Best of all, it also helps increase the knowledge of the business owner simultaneously by providing access to a hive of users and useful content.

When you want to go on a trip, you need some shelter to sleep in. In the past, this would mean that you need to get a hotel to stay in for a short period of time. With Airbnb, the average person is now able to live like a local in any part of the world. Of course, though, this depends on locals putting up their property as a short-term listing on Airbnb.
Netflix is available completely free of charge for a trial period. The idea here is to get you hooked on the service, so that you hardly even notice (or care about) the small hole in your pocket at the end of each month. Since the system charges your card automatically and requires that you provide it up front, many people commit to purchasing months without even consciously making their first couple payments. Those who want extra features, such as being able to operate one account on multiple devices, will need to pay a little extra.
As we’ve said in other posts, it’s important not to overwhelm yourself with new business processes all at once. Instead, choose the KPIs that you think will be the most useful for you and your team, and implement those. Then, after a month or more of using those reports, you can add on to your reporting – or keep it where it is. For more reports, you can have a look at our previous article on sales graphs and charts about it and find some more inspiration!
This daily sales report sample is useful to track on a weekly basis since tracking it daily is just too short of a time span to evaluate your strongest and weakest points. When you compare the results of each rep, you can see each rate and educate others to implement the same tactics. That way your sales numbers will grow, but there is a high chance that you will also improve customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Of course, you don’t have to get your hosting and domain name from the same place. If you pick up a domain name elsewhere, you can still connect it to your new or existing site after the fact. How this works will depend on the web host you’ve chosen. You should check out your provider’s documentation or ask their support team for assistance when making the transfer.
With a platform like Harvest, which has applications on Android, iPhone, PC, and Mac, it is crucial that there are developers available to keep problems from ever developing on this platform. Thankfully, there are continuous updates applied to each of the applications as needed. As a user, the application will not be buggy at this stage in its development. Since it is a rather mature service, minimal updates and maintenance are normally needed.
One thing which Harvest could perhaps do a little bit better in the future is to have a website with a clear and big CTA along with better short descriptions of their service. An average user who stumbles upon their website for the first time may find themselves confused as to what the service is and will be a lot less prone to providing their e-mail address for a drip campaign.
Establishing a strong online presence can take some time. One of the most obvious methods is ensuring that your website is completely optimized for search engines. A great way to do this is to focus on a set of keywords you can easily rank for, do guest posts on other sites so you can link to your website, and building an online presence outside of your landing page.
Based in Alberta, Canada, Helcim is an all-purpose processor that supplies an online payment gateway and open API to businesses in both the U.S. and Canada. Helcim can supply processing solutions for retail, mobile, and e-commerce business types and includes API documentation for integration with websites, shopping carts, billing systems, and applications.
Most of the focus of this funnel is to inform each potential customer about the many high-quality aspects of their service before they personally decide to give more information, and eventually, the subscription costs. The website itself is one of the most professional-looking sales funnels around, but it could definitely improve in showing how much it costs and collecting user information right from the get-go.
Due to its simple integration, wide range of payment options, and secure processing network, Braintree is recommended for independent developers who need to build payment acceptance into a client’s website or application. Braintree’s pricing is fairly standard for a service of its type, with no monthly fees or long-term contracts and a per-transaction fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 for all domestic payments. Braintree distinguishes itself, however, by offering the first $50,000 in payments for free and providing free phone support for all of its users. CardPaymentOptions.com currently gives Braintree an “A+” rating, while the Better Business Bureau also gives the company an “A+.”

When we discuss the life cycle of something like a human, we tend to see it as having a definitive beginning and end. Although this can certainly be true when it comes to sales funnels, one of your goals as a sales funnel owner should be to extend that life if possible. Sure, you may need to face the harsh reality that your funnel may no longer be necessary in the future. That is, unless you have a wonderful idea that can stand the test of time.
However, if several days in a row are pretty bad, or if a week goes by where your reps aren’t performing at their normal standards, that’s a pretty good sign that you might want to ask them what’s going on. Maybe they need to learn some new skills – or maybe their dog just died and they’re in a bad spot. Either way, it’s your role as a manager to support them. Hereafter are some examples of B2B and retail KPIs you can track in this sales reporting template.
